ABOUT JANIE

Just before my 27th birthday, I suddenly realized what was missing from my adult life—sex. I had a grand group of friends, a supportive family, and a budding career, but I had been mainly celibate since graduating from college—out of fear, insecurity, and laziness. And suddenly, the sexless life wasn’t working for me anymore. So I decided I had to do something about it.

This is the story of my adult life since my sexual awakening—the people, the surprises, the joys, and sometimes, the disappointments. But most of all, this is a chronicle of one woman’s growth, of unexpected yet inevitable sensual rediscovery.

Sometimes, I find that my adventures seem never to have happened until I write about them. Writing about sex is sometimes like having it all over again. But with braingasms.
